2019 Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science Awards Luncheon and Conference

The Academy's Awards Luncheon and Conference will be held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Join us as we celebrate Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science.

The individuals to be honored are:

Winners of the Excellence in Environmental Engineering and Science (E3S) and the Environmental Communications (EComm) competitions will also be presented with their trophies.

In addition to technical presentations by our E3S Competition Superior Achievement and Grand Prize winners, the day's festivities will include a review of the National Academies of Sciences, Medicine, and Engineering study on the Grand Challenges for Environmental Engineering in the 21st Century featuring Grand Challenges speakers Dr. Domenico Grasso, Chancellor of the University of Michigan Dearborn, who served as Chairman of the study effort, and Dr. Rula Deeb, Vice President of Geosyntec, who will present a practitioner's perspective on incorporating the grand challenges into the work they perform on behalf of clients and stakeholders.

Registration is only $250 for the Conference, $125 ($80 members) for the Reception and Lunch, or $325 ($295 members) for the entire day.

2019 Who's Who and Resource Guidebook

BCEEs, BCEEMs, BCESs, and AAEES Members: The 2019 editions of Who's Who in Environmental Engineering and Science and the Environmental Engineering and Science Resource Guidebook are currently in production and will be available mid-June. If you received hard copies of these publications last year, then you are already opted-in. If you only received the digital editions and would like to opt in for hard copies, please email YMoulden@aaees.org by May 31st with your request.
